How to adapt the Mediterranean diet for different cuisines


The diet will get its title from eating customs in the Mediterranean: It’s full of grains, fruits, greens, legumes, nuts, olive oil, herbs and spices, and smaller quantities of animal meals reminiscent of fish, poultry and yogurt. The diet limits pink meats and sweets, and in addition emphasizes bodily exercise and social connection.
