How to adapt the Mediterranean diet for different cuisines

The diet will get its title from eating customs in the Mediterranean: It’s full of grains, fruits, greens, legumes, nuts, olive oil, herbs and spices, and smaller quantities of animal meals reminiscent of fish, poultry and yogurt.
